This one is fairly unusual for me. I haven't drawn something detailed that I felt like uploading in a while due to being hard at work on the Owlboy demo (Which is just around the corner actually.)

I took a little break this week and decided to work on my anatomy. After a bunch of sketches I decided to do something I never really do: Draw standard anime anatomy. I've usually shyed away from going straight out anime since I find drawing actual anatomy more helpful (though it's happened before.)

After sketching the pose, I decided, since I've come this far, why not go the full mile and do the whole shabang (yes.) School uniform, revealing skirt and commanding giant mechs for no reason. If I was going to do one of these things, why not do it properly, right?

So there it is. There should be more artworks on the way (hopefully.) In the meantime though, enjoy.

Indeed, why should ships limit themselves to the sea? They've got legs, dammit!
Great concept and lighting--has a bit of an Advance Wars vibe. Though honestly, I only know that through its art and nothing else.
