They were created as an addition to some other fruits at an oekaki board I sometimes go to. On a 5 week trip I developed the idea until I ended up with four instead of one. The fruits I came up with was Spike The ninja pineapple, Nip The sour lemon, Gaz The onion (Who was cast out of the happy veggies since he made people cry) and the leader, Cyanide, the original Snow White apple, angry at the world for being only the second most evil Apple in the world.

Don't ask me why I made them, I guess I had to someday...
